Medicaid Waivers can be a source of much confusion at times, but are an extremely valuable asset for those who have them.
Workplace Assistant is a support service provided to an individual who has Medicaid Waiver and has completed job development and completed or nearly completed job placement training (i.e. supported employment) but requires more than the typical Job Coaching/Training to maintain stabilization in his/her employment.
These services are supplementary to individual supported employment services.
