I think this is a wonderful program. When I taught at Heritage High School, they had a similar program where these students who had disabilities and were enrolled, were in charge of running a "coffee shop." They were taught, organizational skills, people skills, etiquette, finances among other things. It was a program that not only and primarily benefitted these students but also the school as it not only brought revenue for their program it also demonstrated to all students that these students with disabilities were an asset to their student body. It's a much needed program, not only for the immediate benefits (I mean, I definitely benefitted from the coffee ;)) but it gave them long term skills they probably wouldn't other wise graduate with. Thank you Stand Up for your support. Keep up the amazing work you do in and for our community!
