What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assist clients in finding jobs that match their skills, abilities and interests.
- Prep and accompany them to interviews.
- Provide on-site support to help them thrive at work.
- Network with local employers and spread the word about our services.
- Collaborate with employers to create an inclusive environment at work.
- Leave the desk behind; this is an in person, community-based position.
- Build strong relationships with clients, offering guidance and encouragement.
- Track and document client progress.
- Follow company policies and keep things professional.
What You Need:
- Background check & fingerprinting (as per state rules).
- Valid Virginia driver’s license.
- A commitment to empowering and advocating for individuals with disabilities.
- Solid communication and people skills.
- Flexibility to meet with clients and employers during their business hours.
