Dan is the President of Stand Up Inc. He has worked for fifteen years in Supported Employment, beginning in 2001.
Kelly received her BA from Longwood University and serves as the Executive Director of Stand Up, Inc. She has worked in the supportive employment field since 2001.

Paige graduated from Concord University with a Bachelors in Psychology in 2015. She is originally from McDowell County, West Virginia but moved to Tazewell Virginia soon after she graduated college to find better employment. She is now a Regional Supervisor for the Southwest Virginia Area.
Lauren received her degree in Psychology from Winthrop University. Originally from Fort Mill, South Carolina, Lauren moved to Lynchburg in 2015 looking for new experiences.
Radonna graduated in 2003 with dual associate degrees in Business Administration and General Studies. Before coming to Stand Up, Radonna was an administrative assistant at Kroger for 3 years.
Len came to us from Central Virginia Community Services. There he saw the need for meaningful employment for individuals with disabilities.
Hello! I am an employment specialist with the Lynchburg team and I LOVE my job. I came to Stand Up with a background in human services specifically within the foster care system.
Prior to working for Stand Up Inc. I had been working at Church Street Bridal for about 3 years; a non-profit organization which funds women and children who have been subjected to domestic violence and sexual assault.
John is from Richmond, Virginia. He graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in Business Management. He spent 15 years with non-profit organizations mostly in affordable housing.
Before becoming an Skills Trainer, she worked as a store manager for Olympia Sports. Her store closed down which led her to search for a job. She came across Stand Up and fell in love with what this company stands for.
Khirsten Cook is an Employment Specialist with Stand Up's Southwest Virginia team. She graduated from Sweet Briar College in 2015 with an Honors Degree, a Bachelor of Arts in English and Creative Writing, and a minor in Art History. Autumn is a Skills Trainer with Stand Up's Southwest Virginia team. Her passion to help those with various disabilities started as a young child. The favorite part of her job is seeing her clients succeed in areas that they never thought possible.
Janie is an Employment Specialist with Stand Up's Southwest Virginia team. She is an organized and disciplined professional with extensive background in Human Services and Psychology.
She received her dual Bachelors of Science in Human Services and Psychology with Cum Laude status from Old Dominion University in 2016.
Dereck's favorite part of working with Stand Up is all of the great individuals he has the pleasure of working with as coworkers and customers. Dereck chose to work in this field, because of the affiliation Stand Up had with his last employer and their commitment to working with the Special Needs community.
Nicole has an associates degree with the concentration in psychology, from the University of Phoenix and is currently working on her bachelors in psychology at the University of Phoenix.
Nicole has been a Group Home Manager at Leumas Lighted Life and prior to that I was Assistant Director at Larche Blue Ridge Mountains. She worked with people with intellectual disabilities in both positions.
Mary has previously worked in a variety of roles providing mental health services to individuals and families through a Community Services Board, in family homes and in a hospital setting.
She has supported people who have neurological and sensory processing disorders, medical, physical and intellectual challenges as a Psychologist at Central Virginia Training Center and, for nearly two decades, she operated a community-based Day Support program.
Prior to working at StandUp-Inc. I worked in various social service positions in different areas of the county. In South Carolina I worked as a Health Educator for the Department of Health and Environmental Control. In Wisconsin I worked as a Financial Eligibility Specialist for the Wisconsin Works (W-2) program and I worked as a Title IV-E Eligibility Specialist for Wisconsin’s Bureau of Milwaukee Child Welfare.
